Texas Masonic Retirement Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, offers a wide range of outstanding accommodations for independent senior living to Texas Masons, their wives, other qualified relatives, and members of the Order of the Eastern Star. Sundance Associates is proud to have managed these marketing/community outreach projects and more:

  • Managed photography, design, copy writing, and printing of multiple brochures, banners, posters, cards, and signs.
  • Managed photography, design, copy writing, and printing of multiple piece for two annual multiple piece direct mail projects. 
  • Managed photography, design, copy writing, and placement of advertising. 
  • Managed website design including photography, writing content, and layout of web pages. Maintained and updated website.
  • Managed e-newsletter design including restructuring graphics used in advertising, writing content, obtaining photos/video, maintaining contact database, distributing e-newsletter. 
  • Set up and maintained social media account.

One of the nation's largest county hospital systems, the JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, built a new hospital, the JPS Patient Care Pavilion, directly across from the existing historic facility in answer to serious waits for trauma/emergency care and to increase surgical and intensive care capabilities. Sundance Associates managed this major project:

  • ​Created communication plans for physicians, employees, and the public to explain how new facility would meet the serious challenges in providing care and describe changes to the historic John Peter Smith Hospital building in response to the new expansion. 
  • Managed design and copy writing for announcement brochures, posters, and power point presentations describing and explaining how the new hospital would meet urgent needs of community.
  • Organized public presentations to update the community, city and county government, and physician groups on new building and services.
  • Created and distributed press releases to newspaper, radio, and television media as construction wrapped up, for private media tours, and for grand opening media event.
  • Managed media tours of new hospital and sections of historic campus.
  • Created concept for and coordinated media event production for grand opening of new hospital including speaker solicitation, agenda writing, coordination of multiple emergency response organizations with vehicles on display (helicopter, motorcycle police, ambulance, and patrol vehicles), catering, and assisting television, radio, and newspaper media representatives with interviews.

Fantastic Teeth Fan Club

The Fantastic Teeth Fan Club provides free prevent tooth decay kits to nearly 114, 000 first graders every year at more than 800 elementary schools across the state of Texas. Since its inception, this program of Masonic Home and School of Texas, has provided free basic dental tools to help to stop the epidemic of tooth decay--the top reason for missed school days. In addition, the Fantastic Teeth Fan Club creates an important opportunity for members of Masonic Lodges to get involved in "hands on" volunteer work with Masonic Home and School of Texas, strengthening important relationships. The program also offers excellent public relations opportunities for television, radio, and newspaper coverage, as well as creating an abundance of photos and stories for use in social media, e-newsletters, and advertisements. Sundance Associates is proud to have created the concept, researched and written the initial proposal for board approval, managed outreach to hundreds of school districts, and provided promotion for this highly successful program.​

The Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation

Tombstone Mysteries - Solve 'Em & Save 'Em


An event to preserve and restore two historic cemeteries in Plano, Texas. In addition, the event promoted the organization's brand and publicized the preservation mission.


Sundance Associates  provided these services:

  • Designed and completed copy writing for event flier targeted to all ages.
  • Organized outreach  to build community and city government participation and volunteer support.
  • Designed, completed copy writing and distributed custom e-blasts and multiple public presentations.
  • Created interactive activies: "Mystery Tour" of cemetery residents and symbols, tombstone photography activity for grant purposes, and soldier's salute for former military.
  • Coordinated event production, managed volunteers and all event day activities.
  • Created video wrap-up of event--used for promotion of event in following years.

The Race for the Cure, a nationally recognized fundraising event to fight breast cancer, helps thousands of women and men in Tarrant County, Johnson County, Parker County and Hood County. Sundance Associates has been privileged to handle all marketing and promotional activities for this outstanding event including: 

  • Designed and wrote copy for sponsorship and individual participation brochures, posters, and fliers.
  • Managed photography, design, copy writing, and placement of advertising. 
  • Solicited, negotiated, and managed media sponsorships for television, radio, and newspaper. 
  • Created and distributed press releases to newspaper, radio, and television media for coverage leading up to event and on event day.
  • Arranged for interviews with breast cancer survivors, accompanied survivors to media interviews, and acted as spokesperson for Race for the Cure if needed during interviews.
  • Coordinated all television, radio, and newspaper media coverage at Race for the Cure​.
